The Golden Oldies Society aims to care for the
aged in our community. We do volunteer work at two different
old age homes - Heidelberg Lodge in Somerset West and Azaleahoff
in Stellenbosch.
We spend time keeping the elderly company and
entertaining them with general conversation. We
sometimes hold special teas for them.
We utilize opportunities such as school civvies
days and cake sales to raise money for the homes, thus
enhancing the general happiness and lifestyle
of the elderly.
