The Ebenezer 150 Trust

Ebenezer is our watchword - Hitherto the Lord hath helped us

In gratitude for the past and with hope for the future, this Trust has been established by the Rhenish Old Girls’ Union to raise and obtain funds for the Rhenish Girls' High School with a view to providing funds for celebrations and projects of the 150th anniversary in 2010, and for helping to sustain long-term growth and development.

Some projects already identified are:

* Publication of a book entitled "Rhenish 150"
* Archives - documentation, display and preservation in the Rhenish Room
* Establishment of a Bursary Fund for disadvantaged pupils
* Improvement of facilities at the school

Should any specific capital bequests be received, the wishes of the person (s) who made the bequest will be adhered to

Currently the Trustees are:

Ellen Engelbrecht
John le Roux (Personal Trust)
Winston Odendaal
Christiane Zaderer
All the trustees are old girls or have strong links with Rhenish.

Personal Trust International will professionally manage the Ebenezer 150 Trust.
