Rhenish Hostel

Ideally situated on the school premises our hostel can literally be described as "one big Rhenish family". Our facilities provide accomodation for approximately 150 boarders throughout the term. Under the meticulous care of our Hostel Supervisory Staff and Hostel Prefects, all boarders are encouraged to develop to their full potential by being actively involved in all aspects of school life.

Our facilities include a Junior and Senior Common Room with separate TV/DVD facilities. A fully equipped computer room with internet access. Junior boarders (Grade 8 & 9) are allocated five to a dorm. Senior boarders (Grade 10 & 11) are allocated three to dorm and Grade 12's are housed in the annex where they are allocated two to a room. Each grade has their own study room and have supervised evening study sessions except Grade 12's who may study in their dorms.

Our kitchen staff provide excellent meals with our main meal being served at lunch time. We cater for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Boarders have facilities to warm up kept meals and to make their own hot drinks.
