Upon your daughter's arrival at Rhenish, she is allocated to a house. The three houses, Terlinden, Van
der Stel and Weber, have strong traditions and
each house excels in one or other area.
All of this had to start somewhere. In 1679 the well-known Simon van der Stel came across a river and because it was the first river he crossed he ingeniously named it the Eerste River. This is also what it's known as today. His legacy lived through many years and will continue to do so for many years to come.
Terlinden was founded by Rev. Terlinden. He gave the school its second location when be bought, what is now known as the P.J. Olivier Art Centre
Red... The dictionary desrciption of the term entails the words " a colour varyibg from crimson to orange", but to evey Webe girl, this word symbolises passion, love and a burning spirit.
In 1882 Rev. Weber fought long and hard to bring Rhenish, who was undergoing serious strain, back to its former glory. Without this man Rhenish might not be what and where it is today and it is an honour to be named after him.
