What
is the purpose of the Parents' Teachers' Association?
The
PTA of Rhenish Girls' High School feels very strongly
that being a teenager these days is no easy task
and we as parents and teachers need make a concerted
effort to keep up to date with what's going in
the lives of our daughters/pupils.
- We
are planning to host information sessions on
topics such as diet, cell phone trends, experiences
from foreign schools, etc., so watch newsletters
and this space for news about dates and topics.
- Furthermore,
we have all experienced problems with our children's
day-to-day school lives which don't necessarily
merit the making of formal appointments for
discussion at school. As a voice for both
parents and teachers, the PTA is there to bridge
any gaps. Do contact us in this regard.
- Last,
but definitely not least, is our fund raising
role. The target for this year is to make significant
inroads into raising funds for security fencing
around the school.
