| The Rhenish High Heritage Club
“Embracing our Past, Guarding our Future”
The Rhenish High Heritage Club is an independent parent body, recently initiated by current Rhenish parents. Its main objective is the upkeep and improvement of the school and all its facilities for future Rhenishers.
Its main concern will be with maintaining the ‘aesthetics’ and ‘functionality’ of the above school areas and the establishment of a ‘ big picture’ or grand aesthetical plan for the general appearance and functionality of the school buildings, sport facilities and school grounds for the future. The club will elicit the necessary professional advice regarding appearance and functionality, where necessary. Furthermore, its aim is to institute a Heritage Plan that will set the standard for all maintenance and upkeep undertaken, now or in the future.
This ‘big picture’ or ‘Heritage Plan’ will be presented and approved by all concerned school management bodies and thereafter specific projects will be tackled and the necessary funds will be raised for those projects.
To achieve its goals, the club plans to mobilize the extended Rhenish family, past, present and future, through Heritage Club membership. Recipients will be kept up to date and in touch with all its plans via newsletters and this web site. This web site will list donors and donations received until a more permanent fixture such as a donor honours board can be provided.
The Annual Heritage Club membership fee is R150.00. Other membership options include a ‘Life Long” Heritage Club donation of a minimum of R1500.00. Click here to go to membership form and banking details.
