2027 Grade 8 Admissions are currently closed.

Please note the following dates:

10 March - 14 April 2026: Grade 8 2027 applications open / closes.
15 April 2026 onwards - Applications received after 14 April 2026 will be considered a “Late Application”. Late Applications will only be processed after all applications received on time have been actioned and only if there are still places available.
15 April - 18 May 2026: Schools process grade 8 applications.
28 May 2026: WCED System displays the outcome of the grade 8 applications.
28 May - 10 June 2026: Parents are informed of the outcome on the WCED portal.
28 May - 15 June 2026: Parents confirm acceptance of the grade 8 placement on the WCED portal.

18 August 2026 onwards - Applications received after 17 August 2026 will be considered a “Late Application”. Late Applications will only be processed after all applications received on time have been actioned and only if there are still places available.
18 August - 04 September 2026: Schools process transfer requests.
16 September - 18 September 2026: Parents are informed of the outcome on the WCED portal.
16 September - 30 September 2026: Parents confirm acceptance of placement on the WCED portal. - Please confirm within this period.
